Fragmentation - the space between us

This series explores the loneliness of both the city and the human condition; people live in close physical proximity and yet there is a lack of connection and deep feelings of isolation. Fragmentation or distance is evident between each other, within themselves, and in relation the photographer. Subjects placed within ordered geometric compositions offer a stark and contrasting backdrop to the vulnerability of the emotion contained in the image.
