Drapes and Folds (Black and White)

This is a selection of Black and White images from my ongoing project, Drapes and Folds, which delves into the portrayal of gender identity and performativity found in a collection of vintage glamour photography books (spanning nearly four decades) that I found in a charity shop. The resulting artwork examines the representation of women, while uncovering the recurring symbols and conventions present in this particular photography genre.
