I love the experience of being out in the wilderness attempting to capture the mood and emotions of landscapes | happen upon, almost as much as viewing the results afterwards.
I have returned almost exclusively to my original photographic format from back in 1967, black & white imagery. I feel that this genre truly revels the reactions that I have in the field. I can also be as creative as my imagination carries me as black & white photographs are not reality as the eyes see it. The outputs of my processing became truly my vision, just as were my previously made wet darkroom prints. I photograph grand & intimate landscapes. I hope that my viewers share the excitement that these images give to me.
