We draw inspiration from what we see portrayed, replicate what we have learned, and shape our identity, building on a foundation of acculturation or syncretism.
This project explores ritual as a system of cultural transmission. Through the interplay of play, practice, and ceremony, the images reveal the transition from the individual to the collective: a progressive development in which the subject not only participates but ultimately embodies what they have assimilated. Identity is not fixed; it is mutable. It is constructed and reconstructed by the social and cultural context.
