Horse Races, Polavieja Spain.

Every summer in Asturias, Spain, the small villages hold large parties to gather the community together and celebrate the end of summer. One of the activities in the small village of Polavieja, are the Ribbon Horse Races, which date back to medieval times. Local farmers and ranchers bring their horses and run them as fast as they can in order to collect a ribbon attached to a ring, using only a small stick.
