Gone Too Far started as a sort of therapy for mental health issues. Iceland, with its vast spaces and wide deserted expanses, immediately seemed like the perfect setting for this project. This island holds a profound significance for me. I have roamed it in every direction, always alone and on foot. It represents a bygone era, a time when it was a place of adventure and happiness for me. Returning there is like revisiting emotional ruins.
Gone Too Far is a personal quest to shed light on what I feel deep inside me. It is a journey through my own darkness, an effort to capture and understand my darkest thoughts. By revisiting these places that once represented the thrill of the unknown, happiness, and adventure, I was hoping to find a way to remember who I was and, perhaps, understand why I have strayed so far from who I really am.
