In the forests of Alto Xingu, in the Brazilian Amazon, tribes still maintain their traditions of respect for nature, the elderly and ancestors. Kuarup is one of the most complex ceremonies and in this work only a few records show an important part of the preparation and rituals performed. This was the third expedition to the original peoples of Brazil where we lived for almost 30 days, sleeping in hammocks, inside traditional huts, talking and eating, following with the utmost respect this passage of the souls of the tribe's loved ones.
