I was born and raised in Andalusia, the south of Spain. In my childhood, my parents moved to a typical house with land, fruit trees and other plants that were watered thanks to an artificial pond of Arab origin, the alberca.
This place attracted me from the beginning, the pond and its surroundings are the starting point of an introspective journey exploring the origins of my identity as a daughter in the place where I grew up and as a mother where my son lives.
With my lens I go inside the four walls exploring the material part of the traces, the marks and sediments reflected on the walls, as well as the experiential part to describe my son's transition from stage to adolescence.
It is a container of experiences and matter where generations, seasons of the year and cleaning rituals interrelate.
