Sometimes, the most compelling stories unfold when we least expect them. One ordinary day in June 2018, feeling restless and uninspired, I decided to grab my camera—a Nikon D750, not your typical street photography gear—and head out to the Sinksenfoor, Antwerp's beloved annual fair. What followed was an immersive street photography project, where I navigated the vibrant chaos of the fairground, camera in hand, capturing moments that were as enchanting as they were fleeting. To my surprise, this spontaneous decision led to a collection of photographs that would eventually be published online by De Standaard, one of Belgium's leading newspapers.
