In theory Street Photography is one of the "purest" styles in photography. It is supposed to reflect what is going on in the streets in a candid way, but I question: what level of candid in today's world where we see more and more street photos being staged or intervened with AI? I guess it is evolving, which is natural, but are we also losing a photography register? Is the fog of the AI fashion so thick that we cannot see that incorporating something new doesn't mean loosing what we have? There is a lot of fog in people's minds nowadays with all the new technologies and possibilities.
I like taking 100% real photos, I like to work with the real light and also with the fog, as a metaphor of foggy times we all have to go through. I like the combination of the light through the water in suspension in all these street images of people who didn't change their beach day just because something unexpected as the fog at the sea level in a summer day in Spain came to visit them as a surprise. I like how they embrace the new situation while doing their traditional walk by the shore, their games on the sand or their usual swim in the water, etc.
