"12DISLOCATIONS' was made for Madison (WI) Public Library’s 2012 BOOKLESS invitational installation/event. The series was photographed throughout the deconstructed downtown library (then undergoing extensive renovation) and the resulting prints were casually mounted 'in situ'- placed close to the original locations where the photographs were made.
Following the week-long event, a portfolio of the twelve prints was gifted to the MPL Art Collection, and subsequently exhibited in an inaugural solo show in the remodeled Central Library when it opened, in 2013- https://www.madisonbubbler.org/exhibitions/past/2013/lewis-koch
A second installation event- STACKED- also took place at the time of the library's reopening. It included the eight-part photographic assemblage 'The Taped Crack,' first shown in 'When Things Dream' (2006)- a text-based garage installation project- https://www.lensculture.com/lewiskoch?modal=project-5457 (see page 7/11).
