Masters Portraits

A series of portraits that evoke different eras throughout history such as the golden age of Renaissance painters, and the post-World War II era in Technicolor. These portraits were all taken in my professional studio in Northampton, England, adding to the visual authenticity, and stark realism of this moody form of portraiture. In addition, all of the models from the series live and are native to the town. They were all taken using classical lighting techniques, with a maximum of two studio lights, to emphasise how professional photography can be just as impactful with minimal equipment.
