In summer 2024, I took an unexpected detour from Minneapolis to Los Angeles. After a week in Minnesota at Alec Soth's "Workshop at Home", I was set to return for a film job in Kosovo—until it was suddenly canceled. Accepting the serendipity of the moment, an unscripted month-long solo journey across the states unfolded. I drove along Route 66, listened to Silversun Pickups, and captured some moments and people I encountered along the way. It’s the room, the sun, and the sky.
