Marek was my friend who had a dark side that often consumed
him entirely. During these periods, his moods plunged
into darkness, making him almost unbearable to be around.
Yet, on the brighter days, he would go into a whirlwind of
creativity through photography. Our joint photoshoots
always spiraled beyond our initial intentions. With Marek by
my side, fear didn’t matter; he had a way of unveiling hidden
aspects of my being I hadn't even realized existed.
I captured these portraits of him during one of his darker
episodes. His irritation was strong. He barely endured the
session. Little did I know, it was our last meeting in the
studio and in life.
