THE BELLY OF WARSAW Hala Mirowska is Warsaw's grandest and most historic market hall, a place that has captured my fascination for quite some time thanks to its genuine and unassuming atmosphere. It’s a place where authenticity is always present – echoes of Poland before 1989 can be heard and seen in its little streets and nooks. It's a world where pretense and glamour finds no refuge. My lens focuses on the chefs, authors, and food bloggers who frequent its aisles, alongside the vendors and their loyal clientele. This project is an ongoing journey that I aim to finish by the end of 2024, culminating in an album showcasing portraits and recipes born from the heart of Hala Mirowska.
