Veglia

2015 was the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, the Italian poet Giuseppe Ungaretti eighteen at the time was on the front of the Carso mountains (Italy) He wrote this poem titled : Veglia, dedicating it to his dead comrade in the trenches.
