Humans and animals, our worlds overlap. We are alive, sometimes in the dance of life, our paths cross. Why does a pigeon cross my shadow? To get to the other side. Sometimes, humans create animal forms that are products of the imagination or try to fathom the nature of beastly imagination. Sometimes we dance together. George Washington depended on a mind-meld with his horse to get from Point A to Point B. Sometimes, light and shadow, or lifelike forms or patterns in nature, combine to create chimeric abstractions. Other times, we inhabit widely different perceptual realities, but somehow manage to interact and coexist, together and apart.
