Lunapark

Lunapark – Located at the centre of the city park in Lodz is Lunapark, a family theme park erected in the 1970’s. Despite nowadays resembling a disused film set and holding onto the nostalgia of the past. Families still take their young children here to go on the rides today. It represents a place seemingly untouched by the modern day, partly broken and boarded up. In the UK a site that would perhaps be condemned and although an embarrassment to some local people Lunapark is still a permanent operational fixture to this day.
