May Day Montreal 2015

The annual May Day march was met with unprecedented force by police in the heart of downtown Montreal, Quebec. Law P6 allows police to declare protests illegal if protests organizers don't provide certain information to police prior to the march. The protest began festively but soon turned chaotic as police hurled sound and pepper bombs not just at protesters, but also at crowds of shoppers .
