This series features film photographs taken with my grandfather’s 35mm camera, passed down to me after his death in 2022. It’s more than just a tool; it’s a link between us. As a child, I often visited him and my grandmother in Pittsburgh. Those visits shaped my sense of place, family, and memory. Now, walking the same streets with his camera, I see the city through a shared lens. What began as documentation became something deeper—a way to feel close to him. Using his camera feels like a quiet collaboration. Though we’re separated by time, I wonder: Am I seeing what he saw?
