24 fps - Deconstructing Movie(s) tries to translate (narrative) films into one still image (2015). The appropriated film is Zhang Yimou's Chinese Modern Classic Raise the Red Lantern (1991), in this case resulting in a scroll that can be 33,6 meter long when 0,99 cm high (300 DPI /4.7 billion px). One idea is to visualise time, gaining perspective, to step out of time, to see the panorama of time, an entire film in a glimpse, its structure, its visual DNA.
