Sable et Béton

I accomplished this photographic series in a gravel pit in Germany. My look was attracted by these colossal metallic straight lines and these thick concrete posts, the whole was encircled with huge dunes of sand and gravel. The choice of the Black and White was an obviousness for me to bring to light the different subjects. Across these plates, I wanted to give another approach of this place, in a more geometric and more purified way. It is about 16 photographs in square format. These photographs were displayed couple it with a continuity and a sense.
