“Ascetic explores the body as a minimal presence, crossed by a vertical light that suspends it in a ritual of subtraction. Within the water, gestures detach from identity: faces vanish and only an archetypal, fragile, absolute figure remains. The series investigates the possibility of a body that does not represent but simply exists, immersed in a space of silence where light becomes discipline and dissolution becomes truth.”
