Single Portraits of family and friends

I photograph both professionally and for pleasure. When working on personal projects, I often invite my family and friends to model / to collaborate. Most of my personal work tends to be environmental portraits in nature, although I do also work in the studio using constructed lights. When shooting events or weddings, I usually use my Canon 5D Mark iii and Speedlight with a softbox hood. However, I prefer shooting in natural light and in finding the light that captures my subject to the best advantage. My aim is to present my subject to show their beauty and personality in a well composed framing infused with nature. I also hope to infer a narrative meaning which sometimes touches on fantasy or spirituality.
