C.A.R.A Mineo

Cara of Mineo is the largest center in Europe for asylum seekers, thousands are the people who have spent months and months in the center, some even years. Asylum seekers, refugees belonging to about 43 different ethnic groups, in an isolated spot in the middle of the Plain of Catania. They reach the nearest city on foot or by bicycle or by illegal taxi. Cara of Mineo is in the center of the judiciary investigation, and no wonder this: it easy, where so many public money turn, find out who wants to take advantage. It is an ongoing project which will be added step by step photos taken near the center.
