Silent is the night.

Deep in the serene forest in the tranquil hours, I like to create these photographs with mushrooms. The shooting itself is quite intense and often in low ground or other strange and 'crampy' positions. The post processing is also a complex process, but with real images, this is not photoshop light or faked bokeh effects, its all in the field technique. I'm in a complete other world during both shooting and processing the photo's. For me it's not some hollywood fantasy world, but a magical world of colors, textures , and in the field also sounds of the night such as owls and woody organic smells , wich create a strong separation between you and the noise of the industrial digital world.
