Entered into the 2026 Lensculture Strret Awards, ten photos from Hanoi, taken May, 2026. The first impression is always the scooters, swarming through the old quarter, possessed of their own balletic instinct, weaving like insects through the network of streets. Hanoi is never still. To find a quiet moment is pointless. The photographer has to chase this restless energy, fill the frame with movement and detail, anything else is dishonest.
