Whether it is a woman in contemplation, an elderly man waiting alone at a bus stop, or a child enjoying the warmth of the sun, these images capture the most poignant moments of human existence. "A photograph can capture a moment and create a bridge to an instant in time, even if that precise instant isn't fully shown," Hichri explains. "As viewers, we stand before it, hoping to step back into whatever was happening inside the image."
