subway I-beams

The MTA puts ads on I-beams in select subway stations in New York City. When the columns are scraped in preparation for a new campaign, scraps of posters and chipped paint create fantastical art "installations" that quickly disappear. I was fortunate to catch these subjects at the Union Square and Bedford Ave. stations before they were papered over.
