Đường Đường (Sugar Streets) documents everyday life in Hanoi's working-class neighborhoods between 2021 and 2025. Photographed at night while walking the city's narrow alleys, the project captures places shaped by rapid urban change. As older homes and streets give way to high-rise developments and new infrastructure, the photographs record communities and environments that are gradually disappearing. The work follows this transition from older streetscapes to increasingly modern and unfamiliar urban landscapes through a documentary approach to visual storytelling.
