Ahead of Time

An ordinary maintenance task becomes briefly extraordinary. A worker disappears into the face of a seaside clock while a passing gull punctuates the open sky. Made without staging, the photograph explores those fleeting moments when everyday life, geometry and coincidence align, inviting a second look and allowing humour and ambiguity to emerge from the familiar.
