The Blue Period-Providence Unknown I shared a studio space at Artscape Gibraltar Point on the Toronto Islands. This facility has a short-term residency program for artists. Having a studio in this environment has allowed me to observe visual artists working in a variety of media while developing their work. When these artists-in-residence return home they leave discarded materials from their art-making process, take only their final art with them. As an initial exploration, I began working with three artists who shared a studio and used similar materials in collaboration.
