Passenger Seat (Museum Paper, 2012)

When Per Englund moved to Stockholm in 2007 he ended up in a small apartment on Södermalm. In the street below the window there was an intersection with a traffic light. Englund was bored and spent much time in the window where he had a perfect view of the passengers waiting for green light. Shooting from the window became a daily ritual and the collection grew rapidly. The series of images in the book is the epitome of this huge collection, and in the afterword the photographer speaks about his working method.
