Just So Stories
TODAY Oh! kangaroos, sequins, chocolate sodas! You really are beautiful! Pearls, harmonicas, jujubes, aspirins! all the stuff they've always talked about still makes a poem a surprise! These things are with us every day even on beachheads and biers. They do have meaning. They're strong as rocks. Frank O’Hara 1950 This is not a photographic project – rather a kind of diary - those pictures were taken in different countries in different years. They are fractions of reality, bygones situations, stories about past “todays”, about meaningless moments that I’ve experienced. The stories are open – You can create your own or just stare at the pictures.
