I go to a lot of dangerous places. To corners of the world where it’s hard not to get depressed. It is always the children who are hit first. Whether it is because or hunger, or health and education related issues. They are the most vulnerable. I have a chance to meet those kids. And maybe, just maybe I can play a tiny positive role in their lives. Because making a picture is most of the time, despite the sometimes grim surroundings, a lot of fun. Even if it is just for a split second.
