My work features every day people surrounded by elements of what I see as fine art or geometric shapes. Commonly people go to art galleries or shows to see art, but I think in many ways art is always around us and my photography attempts to point that out. I like to think of myself as a street photographer, but I also love aspects of geometric and fine art photography so my aim has always been to balance the two without loosing narration. The street photography element of my work is highlighted by the people I try and interview in a single frame, whilst the fine art aspect is negotiated by the lines, shapes colours or negative space I take advantage of.
