It was 15th January 16. There was a multi artist light exhibition titled in Central London. I travelled in with camera. The place was mobbed. Having left the larger exhibits on Piccadilly and Regent St, travelled up to Grosvenor Sq. The one I particularly wanted to see was "Aquarium" by "Benedetto Bufalino and Benoit Deseille". It was an old London phone box turned in to an aquarium. It looked great. I had my camera and preferring not to use flash, the light from the aquarium offered enough light to catch some good photos. It was perfect. There was a security guard each side of the box, moving everybody on every couple of minutes. I got myself in just behind one of the guards and was intoxicated by the sights for the next hour or so. I was seeing what the fish were seeing. Nearly everybody who passed was taking pictures on all available devices. It was see share now and begged the question are we really seeing. I showed my proposed submission to the good lady and the kid and they said, they are not really portraits, so I googled portraits and first thing up was "A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant" Feels close enough to me.
