General Entry - Emerging Talent Awards

My son could play music before he could speak. My daughter has blossomed into a gifted singer. Our house is always full of music. My wife is a professional musician and both kids share her passion. Although they have each had some formal training, they seem to most enjoy improvising alone or together and figuring out music their own way. Watching and listening to them construct a new song or explore something heard before is magical and awe inspiring. Often a duet transforms to a song or dance. The mood may be serious, silly, or both at the same time. I have tried to capture a little of this joy.
