In keeping with an overarching theme of still life the ongoing series engages a personal collection of porcelain vessels. Arranged with an ode to aesthetic pleasure, the seductive surface of each vase is thoughtfully displayed within the confines of a dark gridded framework. Theatrical staging harkens both individual centrality and collective depth. Aggregation and addition deliberately evolve the textural picture plane from elegant stillness to poetic movement—a shift in perpetual dialogue with future collecting.
