Doomed to drownfall

"Doomed to drownfall" is a photo essay about Venice, a city that is said to disappear in the near future. I think this process is far more developed than people might realize: mass tourism and with that increasing house and basic goods prices have caused the local population and especially younger people to leave this extremely overcrowded city. With my photographs I want to shed light on this sensitive subject.
