Flensburg Station Anno 2015

Flensburg Station changed completely at the end of 2015. As many refugees were seeking to go to Sweden as the country was pursuing an outward-oriented policy towards refugees, the pressure was great at the small train station located at the Danish border. Many of the locals helping out at the station was refugees themselves that had arrived to Germany earlier that year or the year before. The atmosphere was tense at the station since many of the refuges wanted to avoid seeking asylum in Denmark and preferred to move on to Sweden before the y closed their borders.
