Salton Sea

The Salton Sea was once a popular water resort outside of Palm Springs in the 60s and early 70s. There were sailboats, speed boat races, yacht clubs populated with celebrities of the time. Over time there were storms, rising salt water and finally abandonment. Now it is drying up and being left to decay. There are a few thousand people still clinging onto what is left of a once beautiful resort lake.
