I look at photography as a revolving "One Meter" circle that follows me. This most recent series has become a lot more personal and looks at the space around me while at home and in close intimate settings with friends and family.
I look to catch the "micro-expressions" that you only see when he doors are closed and the shades are drawn. The tired morning frown as it moves to make a smile. The frustrated glance that erupts in the middle of a spirited board game. The disappointed eyes that glare when ice cream isn't served at breakfast.
I shoot close, with a wide angle lens to pull in the surroundings and immerse the viewer in the scene and the emotions.
