Hollywood Boulevard

Every year the Oscars are seen by millions around the world. The ceremony takes place at the Dolby theater in Hollywood Boulevard. Many tourists coming to Los Angeles visit the boulevard attracted by the glamour projected by the film stars. Unfortunately this is very far from the truth. When the lights go off, the street becomes a gritty place. The walk of fame is one of the highlights. Stars with the names of famous personalities who've left their mark in the field of radio, television, motion picture, recording and live performance. Visitors are greeted with impersonators disguised as film and rock stars offering a picture in exchange for a few dollars. Hollywood Boulevard is a melting pot of tourists, fake musicians and film stars, travel agents, souvenir shops, fast food and showgirl clubs.
