This is a tribute to my daughter Princess Zohey, who helped me change my life forever.
I bought Princess Zohey as a birthday gift to myself on the 21 June 2007.
I wanted her to be a companion, that will travel with me everywhere and I promised myself to be the best mother I could possibly be.
Princess Zohey went to social training school for puppies from eight weeks and the rest of the training was on “a learn as you go basis”.
My life started to take on a different form; I banned myself from every casino in the country within 3 months to be exact on 22 September 2007.
I love my life now and everything I do, I have learned much and it is an amazing process.
Princess Zohey started to get huge lumps all over her body, I tried every diet and possibility to stop them and to avoid an operation, in May 2016 I started the four month process of having them removed, and the largest lump was 800 grams.
This inspired me to start a book series for children, to capture these experiences in such a way that people from a young age can learn that a puppy can be a great and wonderful companion, so that loneliness and your own sorrow don’t drive you into the pits of hell.
If you don’t fit into the concept of what others want you to be it is more than okay, you can still share a cupcake with a puppy. They don’t judge you in any way; in fact they think you are awesome all the way.
Princess Zohey is playing and running again and we have started to attend events again, so all is wonderful, both of us smiling.
