I took a coach tour around the national parks of the Colorado Plateau between Utah and Arizona in the south west.
Though the tour was organised by a San Francisco tour operator with an English/Chinese speaking guide, most of the seats were occupied by Chinese tourists. This reveals the rapid growth of Chinese tourism around the world.
A few were living in the States and Canada where they have invested in properties. This allows them to remain in the west but still keeping their businesses in mainland China. The main reason being the higher living standard and cleaner air of western cities if compared them with the industrial towns back home.
