Genuis Loci

Genius Loci was the protective spirit of a place. It was often depicted as snake. As the centuries went on the meaing of spirit changed. Today we don't think of spirit as a personified god or being. In our society other things has taken the place of spirit. In this series of photographs the modern spirit of places, especially our citys, is caputured.
