12 South American Street Scenes

South America has always fascinated with its inherent energy and authenticity. For my third trip on this continent, I roamed Chile and Argentina for a month, while on video assignment for a tourism TV channel. But I also took extensive time to capture moments on the streets of Buenos Aires, Santiago and other locations on my journey. My objective was to distill the singularity of these South American cities, where bustling meets laid-back and where modern engages colonial. I took the street photography approach, but I also wanted to create moving and inspiring pictures. This a personal account of this journey, with twelve black and white images.
