The body work uses online publicly accessible old photographic scans, and photographs I have taken myself recently. These I have arranged in a sequence of diptycons. Like Traces of Blackbirds in Daylight seek to address issues of our contemporary visual culture. How tradition and history invokes on our sense of beauty and a sense of proximity and authenticity. How we navigate in our lives as social beings, through use of the photographic image in imagination and selfrepresentation.
