Camera Obscura

I have long been fascinated by industrial sectors - their functional architecture, their temporary, alien structures, their secrecy. Walking through such areas can be a surreal, unnerving experience, especially when beyond working hours. I wanted my pictures to evoke this experience with a visual style that I hope will encourage the viewer to negotiate a number of paradoxes or dualities that have run through my mind when visiting such places: production/contemplation; abstraction/figuration; surface/depth; inside/outside; seeing/not seeing, and knowing/not knowing.
